The Henry House Tea Room is located in the quaint small town of East Brady, Pennsylvania.  The area has long been known as the "Playground of the Allegheny".  Boating, fishing, hunting, hiking and biking are natural fits for this picturesque river town.

Life moves at a slower, more relaxed pace in East Brady.  Neighbors chat over fences and enjoy visiting on front porches.  Locals often walk to church and the post office and stop by to say hello to the banker or store owner.

History of the Henry House

Henry Christopher Henry and Marie Wienand Henry first set up "housekeeping" at 901 Purdum Street in 1917.  Since then, the Henry House has been home to three generations of Henrys.

Refurbishment of the old Henry homestead has been a multi-year project!  You will find family history displayed in a photo gallery on the living room and staircase walls.  Original furnishings have been incorporated into the interior renovations with a goal of emulating a time between 1915 and 1950.

The Henry House Tea Room evolved from a renewed appreciation of small towns and a love of tea that has been cultivated from childhood.  We open The Henry House to you and hope that gracious hospitality, fine teas, freshly made pastries, and savories will provide a pleasant respite from your busy lives.
